At the heart of Astartelux lies the visionary spirit of Yasser Dallal. In 2020, Dallal embarked on a journey to revive ancient craftsmanship and celebrate the enduring power of women through Astartelux Jewelry. His mission is rooted in a profound commitment to conserving and preserving the world's cultural heritage, while embracing ethical and sustainable practices. 

Dallal's upbringing in the Eastern Mediterranean region kindled a deep fascination with cultural diversity, particularly the legacy of the Phoenicians. These master mariners and traders left an indelible mark on history, inspiring Dallal to immerse himself in their traditions and craftsmanship. His passion for preserving ancient knowledge led him to study Maritime Science Engineering at the tender age of 17.

Before moving to Luxembourg and pursue a Master’s in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Dallal spent over nine years dedicated to humanitarian and peace-building efforts in conflict zones across the Mediterranean. His work with displaced communities, especially women and children, profoundly shaped his understanding of societal inequalities. Witnessing the stark contrast between the historical prominence of Mediterranean women and their contemporary struggles ignited Dallal's resolve to champion their rights.

The brand’s name, Astartelux, is a tribute to the ancient Mediterranean goddess Astarte, symbolizing the enduring strength and significance of women throughout history. Astarte, known by various names such as Venus, Aphrodite, Ishtar, and Inanna, embodies the essence of femininity, fertility, love, and warfare—a timeless emblem of female empowerment.

We proudly donate ten percent of our profits to support programs that provide quality education to children in need, viewing it as the cornerstone of a brighter future.
